As a player for villa in his first spell i thought he was the best centre forward i had ever seen for his bravery and his goals. As a person though,i never really liked him
So what has that got to do with me disliking the antics of Yorke ?
Saying that Birmingham City were the biggest club in Birmingham is not running the Villa down ? Think maybe you have been away from home to long Toronto.
He was a brilliant player for use especially 95-97. All round forward- ball at feet, back to goal, shooting, heading, just exceptional. I'd go so far to say only McGrath and at current trajectory Emi was better in my supporting time.Shame he left because the way the game was heading meant it would be hard for us to break into and stay in that top bracket. After well he acted like a prick towards us but I still recall he got a standing ovation playing for Sunderland in 2008.
