Whilst this is not good we are a better outfit than last year, mind you that's not hard...

'Strue, but Lambo makes it harder than it needs to be with many of his selections and tactics. Football is a simple game and we have naive players who need clear and consistent roles.

We're gifting them so much room to get decent crosses in. Appalling lack of closing down
The fullbacks are atrocious, but they're getting no help either. We're playing 5 at the back, you'd think we'd be able to defend width, but when they spread it we're wide open.

Surely the 532 is a main reason why the full backs aren't getting support? Who would be supporting them? I hate that formation

Getting the 'hoof' 'pisstake' from SOuthampton (and Swansea, and Albion and plenty of other provincial clubs) is really, really galling.
