19 years since BL took over. That's frightening. 16 years since Collymore signed... Time really does fly.

I was with Bryan Hughes tonight (ex blues) really nice bloke, spoke very highly of Villa park and he is a lifelong Everton fan, and he said to me the one thing he wanted to do was score at Goodison and celebrate scoring.....

Plus you think the programme editor may have done a little bit of research before giving him a piece in the matchday programme.

Brian Little's photos on twitter show him seemingly coaching in full Villa Macron training gear. Is he back at the club in some capacity?

No , he does some coaching work still but not at villa- doesn't stop him wearing the training gear though .

Exactly , the way he celebrated our win against Chelsea was superb - he may have done some bad things down the years but his allegiance to villa is real.

Sturridge celebrated quite enthusiastically, and he did'nt get much stick prior, and he's a Villa fan.

I know his uncle very well (not one of the footballing ones) and he always reckons he didn't have a particular allegiance with any one club as a kid. Just loved playing.

I'm with those who was not and is not a fan of Collymore.

I do think he is a Villa fan though - he certainly is nowadays. He may also have had a fleeting liking for Wolves asa youth but I believe he was on their books for while?

I think he is very lucky as I can't ever remember a player for any club who was loved by so many Villa fans and who delivered so little in return though. That is why him slating A Young grates on me slightly.

I remember the bloke next to me the night we lost 2.0 to Liverpool saying 'You won;t beat bosnich from there' as he rifled in a free kick that swirled in the air.
