Davey B is a good guy, but then I know lots of Sunderland fans and they all come across well, they usually quite like us as well.

You obviously missed the fall-out of the Bent transfer, in that case.

Also, if you want a glimpse at a football forum so infantile, dim-witted and toe-curling it makes Villa Talk look like the UN Security council, check out http://www.readytogo.net/smb/forums/pure-football.86/

My best mate of 23 years is an Albion fan. Always been a great bloke, until the last two seasons in which he's become a gobby cocky thunderc**t. Baggie twat.

Anyway, on the very off chance that you are reading this Ada, Hussey Arms next friday night?

Aye.

I've had a right laugh reading over this thread. I'm considering having that 'One Direction' quote immortalised as my signature. It sums them up.

I quite like it when oppo supporters come on here it adds a different perspective to the discussion. Lets not jump down his throat too much.

Even after the shit he put on his own forum about us? Anyway, he's another perspective from a genuinely decent Stripey.

http://thebirminghampress.com/2013/11/another-game-of-three-thirds/
In all honesty I've no problem with Liam. He came on here and was gracious and polite (unless I missed a post or two). What he puts on his own forum is his business. At the end of the day he's a fan of one of our main rivals, so once he gets back to home turf he's hardly going to sing our praises, and he probably doesn't like the Villa that much. In terms of his conduct on here, no complaints and if he wants to do the same next season, I for one wouldn't have a problem. We get wind up merchants on here, but he came and behaved himself.

After all if any of us were to venture out, for any reason to a Smethwick forum the least we could do is behave ourselves. Back on our own patch here we're then quite entitled to call them small time and everything else.

Well said

Yeah, I didn't find anything that infuriating in his attitude either.  So what if he would love to see us fall flat on our faces?  It's up to the Villa to make sure we don't, and then we'll be the ones laughing.  And that's what happened.

So it's fine for him to come on here, be polite to us, slag us off on his own forum, then when somebody disagrees with him on here he comes out with the usual double standards they always revert to and it's still okay?

If it was face to face and personal then yeah i'd get wound up but on an internet forum it doesn't matter. I haven't seen anything offensive on here from him despite some replies which have invited a bite. Also I haven't seen what he's put on the Albion forum solely due to the fact I have no interest in their club, Albion is theirs,Villa is ours. My take on it is the Albion fans feel the same way about us as I do about United fans, it's just part and parcel of supporting any club.

Lets face it. Anyone who doesn't support the Villa is fucking bonkers and needs locking up.

This. Just waiting until King William V implements this law.

In fairness, it's presumably just some spotty teenager. Made me smile.

And one or two decent stoke fans, dont recall any fallouts there?

The Stoke fan who came on here was the worst of the bunch, patronising, condescending and soon revealed himself to be a massive c**t, Forgotten his name again but I took an instant dislike to him.

Wish I had bookmarked the welcome that used to be on a Hull City forum for any Stoke fans. Basically it had a section for opposition supporters which said they were welcome but to expect some abuse from some of their members, there was a link for all visiting Stoke supporters, when they clicked on it all that showed on the screen was 'YOU ARE A C**T'. Childish, but funny.
