We could have him on a 10 year contract in the summer it will not make a difference to the end result. We will just get a lot more moneyThat is a difference to the end result isn't it?

I understand it perfectly well without you pair spelling it out. I hope Benteke stays, being one who stuck up for him from the start and one who didn't keep bleating about him missing sitters, and hope to see him scoring many more goals but I think someone will come in with a big offer and he will be gone.

Any club can make a huge bid, the contract means we don't have to sell which you suggested doesn't matter and is factually incorrect. And as for backing him, I can speak for myself and say I'm no different to you in that regard.
Managed to get my hands on a photo of Faulkner and his meeting with the trust:
A football club is not about Trust members, or anyone else who happens to pay to be associated with any other sort of affiliation, it is about supporters, ( I am not an active one now due to location in money matters, but still 100 % Villa heart and body) so when the club holds a meeting with any form of support for that club, it should be a 100% open and reported on. This club belongs to all of us not just a precious few who happen to belong to this arm or the other. The club has an official speaking about a club and he is honest and open, he should be that whether there are 100 or 20000 there, what is there to hide that we all cannot know.
Great to read that the books are finally balanced and lessons have been learnt all round.
