Home games are like clean sheets were, a monkey on our back. We need to do something. Having a go might be an idea. No movement or passing ability doesn't help though.

When we set up with zero attack in mind then we deserve this!! Can see why so many fans stayed away today.
Inevitable

There we go, well we've got what we deserved. Fucking atrocious. Need to actually put out a team to try and score in the second half.

absolutely correct, I agree 100%
It's abysmal mate, really abysmal. I'm so bored of watching Villa play so badly.

This is exactly like how McLeish played.

Disgraceful.

Don't worry , we'll pick ourselves up and go again :(

'I dont expect Aston Villa fans to wait for 40 minutes before having a shot at goal.'  No we wait longer.

Shockingly negative set up. Take a centre half off and put something into midfield or attack we have to actually create something. If you sit back you get beat, it's as simple as that.

The McLeish thing is true, though, it's indistinguishable.

No attacking intent whatsoever. I appreciate they're a good side, but have a fucking go, FFS.

We are nowhere near good enough defensively to soak up pressure like that against even the poorer sides, so why does he think it'll work against this lot?

No attacking intent at all, nothing.

I would like to say that we go again, but we haven't gone anywhere to start with.
No passion, no commitment, no quality, fuck all, nothing zilch we may as well have not turned up.

Outrageously one sided.  Really, really poor Villa side this is.

KEA is the only midfielder who's played football today. The other two have barely touched the ball, as all six defenders (including the keeper) have launched it straight to Kompany whenever the ball's got near them, as if it's a handgrenade one pin short.

We really need to go for this. It's utterly pathetic. Kovak is struggling up on his own. No support, no service. Wiemann's poor.

I'd bring on Albrighton and Tonev to give us a bit of pace and width. There's really no point having 3 CH's today. Our CM is poor. Delph is typically energetic, but KEA is far too cumbersome, and none of our midfield have much in the way of ball control or incisive passing.

Take off KEA or Sylla, and Baker. Bring on two wingers and play Wiemann off Kozak. Or keep the mids, take off Andi and play a 4-5-1.
