I thinks I'd bring Tonev on for Weimann. I haven't got a clue if he's any good or not, but at this point he couldn't be any worse.

Starting to look very much like the win at Arsenal was a fluke

Good point. Weimann has been dire this season.

Just watched the goals from Arsenal and from Spurs. How I wish we had a player who could pass like Ozil or Eriksen!

Well, that is the worst 45 minutes from Villa in about 8 months. Probably, since the 29th Jan, when we played them at home.

So many players below par in that half - it was utterly unacceptable , i never saw this coming.

Eriksen was only £4m more than Kozak. I'm not saying we could have competed with Spurs for Eriksen, on wages as much as anything, but if that's the market surely we'd have done better to try something like that.

26 league games without a clean sheet and counting. What an absolute fucking disgrace that is.

Weimann looked poor in midweek for Austria against Ireland too, heavy touch and offered little threat.

Seems crazy to be talking about resting a player in September, but a spell out of the firing line might do him some good.
