Any word on the date of the game. Please be Tuesday 24th

They will need to talk to Spurs tommorrow and agree prices, date, etc wont be on website until Friday at earliest probably

Will need to sort something with West Mids Plod as well - Us, Blose and Brazil all at home in the cup that week

Nice comfortable win which was what we wanted but we played some really really nice stuff at times. The first and 3rd goals are definatley worth seeing again.

I imagine Albion and Blues on Tuesday and Us on the Wednesday, as they won't want Arsenal and Spurs travelling up on the same day nor Us and Blues playing on the same day.

Unless something crazy like one of them being played on the Thursday happens.

Solid result. Once we scored we settled down and never looked in danger.

The lads who came off the bench aren't exactly bashing Lambert's door down for a starting place are they? I thought Helenius looked like he really couldn't be arsed.

I thought Helenius and Tonev worked very hard.

Having difficulty getting my head round the concept that the opposition didn't score. Bar a couple of scares in the first half we were pretty comfortable throughout, and when we did get into 4th gear we played some lovely football and scored 3 quality goals. I still get a bit frustrated when we pass square and back too often, and sometimes I wish we had a shot rather than over-passing it, but in PL and his methods I trust. Delph is turning into a top notch player, and when he, Gabby and Benteke went off the pace dropped out of the game. Decent crowd (22,000-odd) for a tie against League 1 opposition - job done, back home quick, bring on Spuds

Goals on bbc at 11.35.

What are they on? Who is so crap at editing that they need that much time to line em up and shoot em out, for goodness sake.
I had a go at ITV last year for late highlights, but this is totally taking the proverbial and, and, and...

I will have to write a very stiff letter to somebody.
Good on you. That's the spirit. Personally I will just grumble and whinge about it without taking the strident action of writing a letter.

You know, it's just occurred to me that they may have scheduled this later because of people returning from the matches wanting to see the outcome of other matches tonight.

Well I say bollox to that, I want the goals ASAP.
Still strident.

It's a situation where you'd have to make your own mind up.

I thought they worked hard but all the urgency had gone out of the team by the time they came on, it was like watching a cat with a mouse, we probably could've had a few more goals but we just had a nice easy half an hour at the end of our 4th game in 11 days.  Fair enough for me, the game was comfortably won by the time we made any subs.

Incidentally, the BBC seem to think that Rotherham had more possession of the ball than we did.

I'd be intrigued to see how they worked that one out.
Without looking at stats I thought they had the ball in the first half.

The only thing I noticed about Rotherham was that some chap with blonde hair looked an half decent player for them, well in the first half anyway.
