Incidentally, the BBC seem to think that Rotherham had more possession of the ball than we did.

I'd be intrigued to see how they worked that one out.

Don't know about the possession stats, but it's nice to see they'd got their fingers on the pulse in the live text for the third goal, just like I remember it :o

Quote
52:42 Goal scored
Goal - Fabian Delph - A Villa 3 - 0 Rotherham Fabian Delph finds the net with a shot from the free kick. Aston Villa 3-0 Rotherham.

51:52
Robert Milsom takes the free kick.

Because if there's one game this season where their misfits will definitely get a run out, it will be this one.
But if there is one game this season that the likes of Adebayor are bound to score in, it will also be this one.

I saw that as well...it went from 62% - 38% in our favour after about 70 mins, to something like 48%-52%...bizarre...

True enough.

But we still beat QPR last season, even after Jenas scored!

Easy enough in the end. Could have been half a dozen. They started well and played some decent stuff first 15 mins. Nice triangle passes and some evil crosses. After that it was a stroll and we played some lovely stuff.  Third goal was sexy times.

Goals on bbc at 11.35.

What are they on? Who is so crap at editing that they need that much time to line em up and shoot em out, for goodness sake.
I had a go at ITV last year for late highlights, but this is totally taking the proverbial and, and, and...

I will have to write a very stiff letter to somebody.

Oh and a big fuck you to the buses. I get to the 7 stop within minutes of final whistle and no 7 for over 20 mins. How hard can it be to work out that at the final whistle some of the 20,000 will want a bus into town?

Good on you. That's the spirit. Personally I will just grumble and whinge about it without taking the strident action of writing a letter.

Solid result. Once we scored we settled down and never looked in danger.

The lads who came off the bench aren't exactly bashing Lambert's door down for a starting place are they? I thought Helenius looked like he really couldn't be arsed.
