In a H&V article back in the day he intimated he was a Villa fan. He went on about where he was born, went to school etc and said something like "make up your own mind who I support".

My God they were all out in force tonight.  I take back everything I said about Polly.  They would have won if they had their three players out injured.  They were slagging Gardner off left, right and centre, especially for not taking out Hutton.  Then the usual how Jack just falls over all the time and that Blues fans and players wouldn't stand for that if he was playing for them.  All, in all, we were just very fortunate again and once again they have beat us morally.

I thought Franks was Wolves.

Anyway, one of their fans was on tonight and I couldn't believe what I was hearing 'we were terrible at the weekend, Vinagre isn't a wingback, he can't play there'.

Unless my memory is playing tricks on me, I could have sworn he was the same fan who phoned in last week re the Jonny injury saying 'its not a problem, it will mean a player I'm very excited about will get a chance to come in now, Ruben Vinagre'.

Yes, 31 points out of 39 in the all 13 derbies since March 2005 (when they last beat us in a League game)
It's all luck you know!

I've only ever known one Polly in my life and she was a mentalist too. By the end of today's programme the useless tossers that run the show were convinced that our pen should of been a foul to SH and if they had gone 2-0 up they would have "definitely" won. (no mention of the foul on Nyland for their first) It's the radio equivelant of hemorrhoids.

Imagine what crap they'll all be coming out with by the end of the week? Listened to a bit tonight for my sins: it was even more biased against us than usual!

Anyway, apparently Small Heath will be above us by the weekend & all that matters is where you finish at the end of the season.

WM are just playing to their audience,  Albion, Wolves & Small Heath & their collective obsession. I hardly ever listen to it. Makes you long for the days of Tony Butler & Ron Toss.

I've never heard a positive word ever come out of Gary Thompson's mouth.

I listened to a bit last night and I heard the very bitter blue nose who was knocking us for calling Hutton The Scottish Cafu. He claimed it said a lot about our mentality. They really are stupid aren't they?

They don't do irony, only bitterness.

Listened last night, one wally called in saying Grealish is not a real man and would not be allowed to do that if he played for them, also said Norman Hunter would of destroyed him back in the day

As for Polly, she did not even watch the game, she listened to it on WM and decided it was not a penalty on Tammy as her daughter told her so!!!

For the first time i can ever recall  after beating them i never bothered to listen last night .You just know they are not going to admit that the Villa won and deserved to win .Living up here in Liverpool, one thing i have noticed is that Radio Merseyside tend to favour the reds but are at least fair  when it comes to games between the two teams

First up from Franksy tonight - "should Alan Hutton have been fouled?" followed up with "does Jack Grealish go down too easily?".  Nice positive start to the show!!

What about Craig Gardner is a repulsive ugly oik? They need a balance to these debates!
