If you do listen but haven't heard it tonight Pete the nose from Erdington has been on. He's 65 you know and he's been going down since he was 5. Thought you'd like to know that in case you've missed it.

Is this him?

Not sure why HITC hve just published this now, but annyway:

Quote
And Thompson, who scored 17 goals for Villa during a two year spell with the club, highlighted a particular incident that he believes shows just how bad things are at his former club at the moment, when speaking to BBC West Midlands Radio:

"What is driving me mad is that with the Hogan injury, no-one went to him. He has worked his socks off, he has had no support and then when he gets injured no-one goes to him. It took Alan Hutton four minutes to be the first one to go to him. I think Gary Gardner went to him. The rest have just turned their back on him and that for me has summed up what is completely wrong at this football club. Absolutely disgraceful.”

You know it almost smacks of kids' stuff......." He's taken our mate's place in the team so I shan't encourage him !"
It really shows a lack of togetherness and all-for-the-cause, doesn't it ?
Now how do you get that back ?
These pre-season bonding camps seem to work sometimes, with some playing squads. But would it work for us ? And will SB buy-in to that kind of thing ?
Wyness apparently alluded to there being no thoughts of a change during the Fans Consultation Group discussions. So SB has to sort that out sooner, rather than later IMO.

I'm looking forward to the day he says he's 66 you know, mate. I thought he'd forgotten his age, the last time he was on he was sixty odd mate and seen it all mate.

Pete sounds so bitter I'm convinced he must live with Polly.

Keith Wyness on WM tonight confirmed that Bruce will be manager even if we get relegated.  Today anyway.

In one sense you'd like him to be a bit more hesitant, so that Senór Potato isn't under the illusion that he has the gig whatever the weather.

But they can't say owt else really, at this point.  He has their 100% backing - right up to the time he doesn't.  At which point they'll be drafting the press release explaining his dismissal.

I presume it was really boring and stock answers given he was on for an hour and hardly anyone has been that offended to post anything about it!

Tbf I normally listen when a club official does a phone in but I completely forgot which probably sums up my apathy atm.

Beat me to it wince. Was just posting......

7th February 2017 - Ranieri gets vote of confidence.

23rd February 2017 - Ranieri sacked.

It means nothing if those in those in charge have a change of mind.

It did piss on his chips when Wyness said regardless he'd be in charge.

Who the f**k was the bloke on first who's question went on for about 5 minutes? Jesus I thought we'de never hear a reply.
