Alan the Villa fan is one of the worst one's. He makes me cringe, he hasn't got a clue.

Clampy is Alan the Villa fan who is always on about us going on incredible winning runs ?

Yeah, that's the one I think. He reeled off a list of players who he'd get rid of in this window without stopping to realise that we actually need a squad.

And like most callers, irrespective of which club they support, his opinions change like the weather after one result.

I avoided the temptation of saying "including many on here" but yes.

I never listened to WM before and when reading this thread thought villa fans may have been a bit sensitive,

listened the other night. when they had Sneekers on talking about Albion and how cohesive and wonderful  they were etc etc ,etc, but by golly they had to keep referring back to about (how unlike the Villa ).  There was no need we were not part of the topic at all.  so let me  apologise

I take it as a compliment. We could be non league and we'd still dominate their thoughts.

Jeez, they had Alan the Villa fan on at the same time as him tonight and they were going back and forth.  Just when you think it couldn't get any worse.

An Albion fan rang in all the way from Florida tonight just to talk about the Villa.

What was the assessment of our midfield revamp?

What was the assessment of our midfield revamp?

I think the word 'assessment' is a bit wasted Ads.

I think it was the stripy bloke from Florida who was asking why we hadn't bought better midfielders who could play in the Premiership. It was quickly pointed out to him that we need players who know this league and we'de worry about that if it happens. He went off on some other Villa rant after that. Cock.

The other bits I heard I think the consensus of Villa fans who were on we're really happy with the January business done so far.
