Thought Bruce on WM was excellent. Said all I wanted to hear. He's seen enough

What did he say?

Bloody Pulis mentioning us again just now >:(. Why can't the dick just focus on his own team? Are they going to do their usual thing of getting close to 40 points then settle for that?

Strange but probably trying to win favour with their fans in having a dig at us. In fairness he has done well this season, comfortably 8th currently. We can only dream about that

To be fair though, he's said that a couple of times over the past few weeks and we are still seeing the same characters in the starting XI.

He also said Gabby showed a number of players up, expect him to start in next game.

Missed the first half, listened to the second half on WM. Could only bear to listen to a few callers after the games ended, but in a sort of schaudenfreude way, listening to some SHA callers was enjoyable.

Does anyone know who Rob from Halesowen actually played for? He always makes reference to it when speaking to the pros in the studio but never says who for.

That bloke is one of the most annoying on there and he's up against some pretty stiff competition.  I hate the way he always says 'you'll know this better than me we've played the game.' To the 'legend' in the studio.

Jason the Villa fan has said tonight that he's surprised that we've not brought in 4 or 5 players by now. Why are some people so utterly ridiculous?

Well I thought we'd have a couple of outfield players in by now. What's wrong with fans voicing their annoyance?

Nothing but expecting 4 or 5 players to have signed 5 days into a January transfer window is a little un-realistic and smacks of impatience.

I think the one thing Villa fans can't be accused of lacking these last few years is patience.
What's annoyed me is that we allowed Gestede to miss monday's game even though Kodjia had gone off on international duty which left is weak up front. We should have at least got an outfield player or two in by now. I don't think that's so ridiculous.
