Their special guest was Joan Hunter, and I was wondering who the hell she was, and then realised she was one of my mates at University!
Still have no idea why she was the guest though!

Was she the one who said we should have got in Kenny Miller on oloan when we bought Darren Bent?

Listeners takeover week?

Franksy should be worried about his job, he'll be shown up for the talentless twonk that he is.

Have any H&Vers who still listen to WM applied for this?!

If I'm not listening to Durham and Goughie , I do tune in on the long drive home from work.

They've started the phone in half an hour earlier but Franksy still only manages to fit in about 3 extra calls in total after he's finished summarising what was said last night,  gone to Nina with the travel even more often, asked some more repetitive open questions to the listeners,  given out the text number etc..

Among the first three on last night included Paul the Blues fan,  you know, and Alan who did make me laugh when he suggested Guzan on Sunday had been taking whatever Maria Sharapova had been on.  A surprising number of Villa fans seem to think that Westwood has performed badly and that Veretout has been good.

Westwood has performed badly and Veretout has shown his ability quite regularly. Not sure why the fact that many Villa fans recognise this is surprising.

For me veretout is captain material and should be centre midfield general driving us forward not moved about like he has been

And they also covered the Carruthers story in their news break.

I nearly did volunteer as I could do a much better job than all the fuckwits on WM, but I wouldn't last 2 minutes on any show without swearing or taking exception with someone, so it was best I didn't apply.  Would liven up the cooking or gardening slot.

I certainly could to better than tonights opening question which I have the misfortune to hear as I had to leave work earlier than usual - if your football team was a biscuit, what sort would it be?

Predictably Wanskie compared us to a dunked digestive, left to break up.

I think it was Monday when Franksy was talking about some baggies fans still not accepting Pullis and if he did decide to walk in the summer, for whatever reason, Hollis, Bernstein et al should beg him to join us.

I only listen on a Friday & some of the callers do seem repetitive, but I enjoy listening, even called in a couple of times myself.

Beats Adrian "However" Durham & Stan "Absolutely" Collymore, 606 on a Saturday isn't too bad either although Lily Savage presents, at least there are no adverts!

Here's Nina with the travel

I've just listened to about five minutes of this. Some Small Heath twat is allowed to slag us, Stripey after Stripey is on about us, CallMeFranksy is loving it. Biased - surely not.

I've been thinking the very same. He really does give his all and it's easy to forget just how young he is (23 earlier this month).

I listen quite often on my drive home from work and the Small Heath twat stated that us Witton Town fans deserve to go down (no argument there), and that we are so arrogant that we think we will go straight back up again. During my journeys home I've never heard a Villa fan claim that we would go straight back up, and to be fair to Franksy he said as much. Then there are the replays of the deadhead earlier in the week saying how bloose have been more successful than us over the last six years, (I wonder what he's clinging onto).

Comedy gold tonight. Resident WM Gabby lover Si said we should keep him for the three remaining years of his contract, Gary and Craig Gardner should be in midfield next season, Brian Little should be manager oh and Garde as technical Director.

That and the nose who came on and called Clayton Donaldson a bit of a 'menigma'.
