He has certain soft spots for things/people.

Wolves, Kenny Jackett, Richard Stearman, Albion, Rondon, Gary Rowett, Eddie, 'the football family.'

I know very few fans of very few clubs, including many of those of our moronic rivals, who would consider a claim in any other than a laughable manner

Eddie said they were a bigger club than us at the minute, so if he said, I believe him.

There was also 'would Rondon get in Villa's side ahead of Ayew or Kozak'.

Not Ayew.

Not enough game time to consider the latter as he has only just come back.

I doubt you'd find many Albion or Noses who'd consider themselves even half as big as us. It would ruin the plucky under dog spirit in the case of the former, while the latter know they're shit.

As someone said the other night, we still get almost the average attendance of Smethwick for a midweek cup game against League 2 opposition at the last of three consecutive home games straight after Christmas when the side have been as dreadful as they have this season.  It was also pointed out that the average crowds of Smethwick and Blues combined still wouldn't be enough to fill our stadium.

No, they're a better team. Not a bigger club.

I've got a feeling they might be THE team that gets dragged down into the relegation battle this year - and hopefully we can start that off this Saturday.

Did anyone hear the Peter Grant comments that we fans are "delusional"?
Being reported on BBC Gossip - apparently we are "angered" - strange it hasn't been commented on here...

The Bloser call on last night.  The epitome of obsessed. Ranted for a good couple of minutes about us then followed it up with this gem of a question - "Is there a worse big club than the Villa"?

Followed by a Villa fan "Their obsessed with us, we don't care about them"

It says a lot about the mentality of the perennial losers that are SHA that some of their fans have been phoning in this week saying they would rather stay in the Championship and play us next season than go up.

By the way, no matter what you think of them, Rowett has done a marvellous job there - they will never have a better chance of going up this season seeing as us and potentially another big side will be going into that division next season.
