"Rego" was practically tossing himself off on the commentary yesterday every time Citeh had an attack

I wonder what the aim of alienating supporters of the biggest club in the region is? I'm surprised anyone listens to it, you know what you're going to get.

True enough. I normally have Tom Ross on Monday but he was yapping to Gary Rowett for an hour. It would have been better actually.

So they ring up....

You would expect better of the Public Broadcaster though.

Perhaps it's just me - I switched it off.

Ayew (scored 2 in last 3 starts) isn't going to make it according to Rego,he said the same about Benteke so I won't lose heart yet

The quality of callers continues abound.

This week one caller when asked to give Kenny Jackett marks out of ten for the job he's doing said '9 out of 5.'

Then last night a Villa caller mentioned a Swedish takeover by a group based in Geneva.

Brilliantly, when he was corrected, he then proceeded to refer to the group as 'Swish'!

Curtains for that rumour then.

[prays that Swish is still a brand in the UK]

Based on their financial arrangements that could describe Ikea. (Be very afraid of a new North Stand!)

I honestly thought he was going to follow that up with the word roll at any second.

Just to let you all know that the unbiased local radio station is hosting a special 'life and times of Tony Pulis' tomorrow evening instead of the phone in.

fuckadoodledoo  ???

a veritable feast of cultured football as the Midlands top club West Barcelona Albion are playing Arsenal I believe, these two great total free flowing footballing powerhouses going toe to toe...what's not to whet the appetite....

surely that would of been a better topic for a phone in ?

You do have to wonder about some of the callers on there sometimes.  A Wolves fan ended his call the other night by apologising to Franks for not being able to listen to the show for a while because he had been at work.

Franks was on his usual form.  He was asking caller to phone in with the favourite games they had been to.  One Villa fan phoned in and said the 2-0 Inter Milan win in 1990.  He'd only just finished the call when Franks piped up with something like "of course Villa lost the second leg 3-0 and went out".
