I'm sure Tim said something to Mark Regan after the match about "your colleague will be upset" or similar.

Call me Franksy "Villa's squad cost £40 million and Blues cost just £400,000"

O'Conner muttering "well said" as every nose comes on.

Whichever result last night we were on a loser. Because we've won all I've heard is "well you should have won being a premiership team" and we would never have heard the end of it if we had lost.

Job done. Just smile and laugh at the delusional knobheads. UTV.

It seems like they are coming round to our way of thinking ie they are pish and not anywhere near our level, so feck off and enjoy reminiscing about a shot you had on target.

Martin O'Connor sounds like someone's shot his dog.

And has a face like someone's shot dog.

He's running a competition you have to name championship clubs with a higher average.

You could have just left it at 'name Championship clubs' and the answers would have been the same.

Tonight's question?

Would Villa have kept Norwich to below 4 goals and would Albion have won by 2,3 or 4 v Blues last night?

Nose who rang into WM last night after the game was claiming a moral victory because there didn't look £90 million pounds difference between the two teams. On what planet our team cost £90 million more than theirs escapes me.

Reckon starting lineup plus the subs who came on would be between £40-45m. Another £15m or so of unused subs on the bench if we wanted to be really generous.

It doesn't matter the difference in cost of the two teams. They're not allowed to play league games against us and that takes in to account not being able to spend as much money, they have to play teams at their own level, like Rotherham and Huddersfield etc. It's a cup game and moral victories go to teams like Carlisle and Luton, plucky nobodies doing their best against the bigger boys.

It pleases me greatly that they've finally succumbed to the level of plucky nobodies. It's took us a while of telling them that, now they accept it. That's mission complete to me.

I'm amazed with BBC4 looking at getting the chop that Radio WM can keep turning out the same tripe without question year after year. I'm not just talking about football coverage either...  the whole station is a vortex of tedium and mediocrity.

He did (its still on the BBC website in the post match interview audio) can't figure out of its 'there' or 'here' but he says "Your mate (t)here will be disappointed".

no I think that calculation is about correct when you consider their entire club is worth around negative £30-£35m. So £90 million pounds difference is probably being a bit generous to them.
