CallMe came dangerously close to criticising the Stripeys tonight.

He definitely did have a bit of a wobble didn't he until he was rescued by a Wolves fan so turned his vitriol on them.

Did he mention that they've finished above the Villa 3 times out of the last 4 seasons? He seems to mention it at least 10 times a show.

Heard a bit of it tonight as someone I was having a lift with had it on.  An Albion caller said he thought they had poor squad and the resident idiot jumped straight in with "is it a poor squad?  Is it better than Villa's?" before going off that train of thought to compare Pulis and Sherwood 's points tallies over a different number of games and finishing with  "so Albion fans, would you prefer Pulis or Sherwood in charge?".  Utter, utter bell end.

He's got to earn a living if he can't do commentary games on a saturday afternoon.

I remember when Bob Hall first starting popping up reporting on Soccer Saturday.

Considering he's 3 years above pensionable age I doubt he'd be too desperate for money.  He probably just likes been involved.

Bob Hall always seems to get an old school crackly phone line when he is reporting on SKY. He also had the most heavily sponsored car I have ever seen with his name plastered all over it back in the eighties.

Don't rise to it. Don't listen to it. It's all bollocks.
