Dean Saunders on Drive beforehand was a joy.  His bit about BFR's team talk before the 1994 League Cup final was brilliant.

Saunders is that infectious Wansky couldn't get a work in edgeways to spoil it.

Cracking stuff from Franksy tonight:

"Joining us now from New York, Duran Duran's Roger Taylor......"

"Err hi....I'm actually in The Midlands, getting ready to travel down to Wembley"

"Oh..err..OK...well John, what do you reckon for tomorrow?"

"My name is Roger"
"Would you talk to us about tomorrow."

"Not after the hypocrisy of your presenters."

"Who?"

"Take a wild guess."
Did that really happen? :D

I bet he was dying to chip in with some "yeah but what about Albion" horseshit, the fucking twat.

A little while back they devoted a whole hour to Albions so called Great Escape! A near disastrous season is cause for a celebration?

Tom Ross, Blose through and through, is immeasurably fairer to and more supportive of Villa than WM are.

When I was growing up WM used to just have a phone in on a Friday night and then obviously after the games on a Saturday and Sunday.

Problem was them changing to every night a few years back. I don't listen but what on earth do they talk about other than these inane player comparisions Frawnksy likes to do?

What do they do when there's an international break on? I can understand national radio but just dosen't work on local radio.

It's exactly the same programme.  Without fail.  Every night of the pissing week.

The people who phone up all sound so bloody depressed.
If 80% of them are noses or come from 6 toe county, what the bloody hell do you expect.

I agree, he plays it straight down the line. Yeah, he'll be more emotional if he's commentating on Blues, but that's understandable.

And they'll replay all the goals. They replayed all the Southampton one's for some bizarre reason.

Tom Ross is sound, I've met him and he's very fair to all Midlands clubs including us.
