A few weeks ago I heard Franksy say ( and I kid you not )

Something like.. My predictions for the end of the season :-

Villa stay up and win the FA Cup

West Brom finish above Villa and become kings of the Midlands,

They seem to have conveniently forgotten that Stoke is in the Midlands.  "Kings of Sandwell" maybe?

Well, I don't know about you but if we win the FA Cup but finish below Albion in the league I just won't be able to celebrate, because it will totally take the shine off it knowing that we aren't Kings of the Midlands.

When was the last time King of the Midlands was anything really to shout about? I suspect it was the last time there were a good number (6+) of Midlands teams in the Top League. When was that? 30+ years ago.

King of the Inferiority Complexes , think the Albion will knock the bluenoses off top spot this season.

The answer to that seems to be "whenever it last was that it wasn't Villa who finished in the highest league position."

I hope Wolves get to the play off final. Add them to us and Walsall and everyone around them will have been to Wembley except them. One of them at their expense.

They have been to Wembley - not only for championship play offs but for an FA Cup semi final.

However, quite amusingly when I googled 'Albion at Wembley' to check this, the first 2 results were Burton Albion at Wembley & Witton Albion at Wembley.

Someone better knock on down there this morning, it's going to look like the Reverend Jim Jones has been holding court.

They asked me on yesterday morning. I thought it's the breakfast show so they'll be positive.

First question "When are you setting off?"

Then "Will Benteke be leaving?"
