I disagree with many of the comments. Delph was awful, as was Gabby. They both looked like they couldn't trap a bag of cement. Bacuna gave the ball away a lot especially early on, but he's definately got talent. Okore looks very promising, Luna has sorted our left back problem. The talent is there for all to see, but they didn't look like a team today, and this home performance thing is strange and worrying. I don't think we need a 'number 10', we have a glut of attacking options. If the movement and ideas are lacking going forward it will be a struggle for any new attacking player to change it. We still need a leader on the pitch to gee everyone up and get messages across better. Has Scott Parker signed for anyone yet?
Poor 1st half , much better 2nd , maybe deserved a point but would have taken 3 points from these 3 games and a zero goal diff before the season started - we do need to beat newcastle though next game .
I dont agree that Liverpool are so much better than us, they had one shot in the whole game. They had class in the shape of Toure, Gerrard and Sturridge to be fair. Some of our players did look jaded, three games in a week at the start of the season isnt easy. Personally I think Lambert could have made the subs a little earlier. As someone else mentioned, can only think Lowton was taken off for fear of being sent off
