Oh well, if its any consolation we're only conceding 1 goal a game instead of 4.

On the plus side we've got 3 weeks to sort ourselves out and get ready to batter Newcastle.

Poor 1st half , much better 2nd , maybe deserved a point but would have taken 3 points from these 3 games and a zero goal diff before the season started - we do need to beat newcastle though next game .

Bacuna looks absolutely dreadful. Truly awful.

Very very very poor.

For how many years now are we avoid of ideas on opening up game without relying on counter attack.

This should tell the club and especially Lambert that we need to buy a different type of player when we need to force the issue and create chances at home.

Almost looks like we're relying on Benteke every single game to pull some magic out. When it doesn't happen we look less than ordinary.

Hopefully Lambert will have seen, laid bare, our need for a more creative player in midfield. Westwood and KEA are good as metronomes in midfield but you only really need one, Delph is a fixture with his dynamism but there's not enough creativity and there's not enough technicality on the ball.

Our home fans have had an awful few years. Flip sake.

That was poor but teams that finish top six would have scraped a point with those chances. We didn't. We are still a fair bit off that.

I have no idea why you would say that-he looks a good player to me-strong on the ball and likes to go forward. yes-he gave the ball away but he will get better. Good second half-deserved a point but didn't threaten  a nervous looking keeper enough. Home jitters methinks.

Liverpool aren't up to much. Bad defeat.
