Lets not be churlish, if he was crap nobody would have given a toss about him leaving.
We supported him through his injury time.
He was certainly our best creative driving midfielder.
That does not excuse this Snakey, two faced , snot gobbling, backstabbing, Bastard for his manner of leaving.
We have lost many class acts over the years, but few have matched this egotistical, lying c*** for his callous, devious, treachery.
Ian Taylor should take him to one side, explain the problem to the twat and then give him a good Kicking.
On that note, a merry Christmas to all the Villiains  on the site tonight

No need for that line to be added mate, agree with Tayls having a chat with him.

Delph is apparently linked with Newcastle I've heard.

Then the Champions *I think) wanted him.

Nope, they'd finished 2nd.  It was essentially a sideways move!

I'd love to see Tayls give him a right good kicking!

I'd prefer more of a large number of malicious big brother style digs, a few bruises on the ribcage but no more.

In keeping with our new ownership, how about some really bad Chinese burns. They really hurt when done properly!

Why are we talking about this ***t? I hope he slips and cracks his pelvis and never plays football again.

I'd rather he propelled us to promotion than that. As Pete suggests, he was torn.

Some extreme comments expressing a desire for physical harm that I can't agree with.

However, should he experience a severe case of the shits over Christmas I would be very amused.

As others have said, it was the right move for him at the time and take villa out of it, a move we probably all would have made

One thing he did do for us was make sure we got £8m when he did move on when he could've gone for nothing if the new contract wasn't signed

The thing which he got wrong was all the bullshit things that was said at the signing of the deal in January, but how much of that was down to the club telling him to say that to give us all a lift during bad times

The summertime changing of mind was probably genuine, but made the whole situation worse

Not that it would happen or go down well, but I would have him back if it was on the cards

To be honest, him staying at Manchester City will probably achieve the same thing!
