I wouldn't wish injury on anyone but if he's going to play football with his wallet in his back pocket then he's just asking for trouble.

Unfortunately, Delphaconda is going to receive no sympathy from me.
For his sake, he better hope it isn't a long lay off, trying to get a starting place in a few months time may become rather difficult.

Standard MO for the snake. Sign, get injured, not play for two years.

This is bad news as the injury gives him perfect excuse to explain why he will not be playing week in week out. I would rather he was fit and just ignored.

However it might force Man City to put in a crazy bid for Pogba which would be disaster.

I'd love him to get a career ending injury next. He deserves it.

Or, even better, Kevin de Bruyne

No player "deserves" a career ending injury.   If we want to gloat over him, and I certainly do, he must simply not hack it at City, not make it to the Euros and finish up a washed up has been in the Conference.   That he does deserve.

We need him fit and playing so that on 7th November he starts at Villa Park and then a totally fair challenge from Ciaran Clark means he needs to be carried off from right infant of the Holte End - be funny if they dropped him at same time

This. They may have to look for another during his absence, pofba would be ideal though.

Interview with Delph in the Mail on Sunday. Basic jist is 'he owed it to his children to move'. No sign of him thinking it might be a good example to set his kids where you do what you say you are going to do.
