Let's be honest, he's not really all that good, is he? He shone in a shower of shit.

I hope this is the worst career move you ever make Delph. Rot in hell.

Fabian Delph: "Leaving Aston Villa Football Club is the hardest decision I've ever had to make."

Delph: "Decision to stay initially was purely based on the emotion and feelings that I hold for the club rather than looking at the football opportunity that had been placed in front of me."

Fuck off you twat.

There was something i wanted to say about Delph for a long time, But i knew on here Delph had many fans who would back him and see him through Claret and Blue eyes, Now i can finally say it.
I never rated him, He doesn't score enough goals and very rarely make assists and i just didn't understand why Villa fans thought he was that great, I mean if he was a Townsend,Taylor or even Boateng i would understand but Delph is no where near as good as them.
To me Villa was his best shot of making a name for himself, maybe a midtable team but a top 6 side he is not, They are out of his league, If i was a Man city fan i be well pissed of because other teams fighting for the prem next season have top players already let alone adding some more now.
That's his England spot gone now, Man City will play him start of the season and see he will not bring nothing special to the team apart from a good engine, To win the Prem you have to be more special than Delph, Look at Chelsea with Matic and Fabregas, I'm sorry Delph you be on the bench before you know it. He will be the weakest link at Man City and you fucked your career up.
Now Sherwood go out and buy a better replacement.

Fixed...
Fabian Delph: "Leaving Aston Villa Football Club is the hardest decision I've ever had to make."

Delph: "Decision to stay initially was purely based on the emotion and feelings that I hold for the club rather than looking at the ridiculous amount of money that had been placed in front of me."

I wouldn't piss on this prick if he was on fire. I'd love to set Pesci from Goodfellas on the fucker to just kick his head in.
He could have left in the summer with some good will. Would anyone have blamed him for not signing a new contract? Probably not. Hell, if he'd left last week there'd have been some hate, but a few saying "Well at least we got 8 million for him, and it's not a surprise he wants to go."
However after declaring he'd stay, and u-turning within a week, frankly he can go kiss a bus. Head on. While the bus is travelling at 90mph.

He's elevated himself to the very pinnacle of "Remember that absolute shitbag that used to play for us but fucked us over?"
The only thing Delph has done has made me look back on Downing with a little (a very little) more fondness.
Prick. If someone breaks his legs on his return I'll send them a nice Christmas gift in the post. I'd even sign Joey Barton on a freebie just for that job.

Pretty much what I expected from him and I for one believe him.  I think he found the decision very hard.  I don't think his statements paint him in worst light that players who bite off the band of the bigwigs when they come calling.  Indecisiveness is his crime and it will earn him one heck of a lot of trouble now.  In sum, what an idiot.

If Delph actually had any "feelings and emotions" for the club, he wouldn't have insisted of that disgustingly low release clause being put in his contract in the first place.

He is an absolute coward, and not worthy of playing, let alone captaining our great club. He deserves nothing more than his career to fizzle out into a pile of shit.

Good riddance

Can this day get any worse?  Clayton Donaldson has just agreed to extend his contract with Small Heath until 2018.

He had so much emotion and feelings for the club that he inserted a clause that was so far below market value he knew it would be triggered this summer. What a fucking hero.

I don't believe a word of it. As I say, if he really did care about the club, then why did he insist on a release clause well under half his market value?

Why do the club have to "wish him well in his future career?"
Why can't they put a hex on the fucker or something?
Or say "We hope Fabian shits out a polar bear and then gets eaten by it."
