And, just to prove their idiocy, this is what they've just tweeted all of three minutes ago.

He's pointing to his sky blue sleeve. Jack can't believe it and Gabby knows summat but aint tellin. The clues were all there.

Barry, Milner, Delph...we might as well draught a contract for Grealish to sign for City in a few years.

There's a lot of 'I didn't fancy her anyway' going on here. He's very good and I'd imagine will feature in around 30 of Man City's games next season which, when you consider it, isn't bad at all. Fucker.

Calm down, chaps.

It's probably just a bit of shit stirring by a crap journalist. As soon as Fabian has a chance to get away from visiting his missus in hospital, I'm sure he'll make an official statement through the club site to say he's going no where, loves the club and can't wait for the season to start.

Prick! I'm really disappointed with this. He is going to get a lot of abuse from fans when he returns to play us. I really liked what he said when he signed his new contract, now it feels like he mugged us all off. Expect a hostile reception you two faced twat. VTID

I bear him no ill will. He could've walked out for nothing if he was just a mercenary. Always gave his all for the club. I can't blame him for having his head turned at the chance of winning trophies and playing in the best club competition in the World after putting up with years of mediocrity at Villa.

People are slagging him off for his statement when he signed. What was he supposed to say? I don't doubt for a second he had genuine affection for the club unlike rats like Downing.

I wish him well, except when he plays us.

How about he didn't have to go an be so effusive about how loyal he is? £8 million clause was clearly put in place so he could leave asap. He knew that was at least half of the going rate for an England midfielder. If he really had affection for the club or had any intention of living up to his statement he would have signed with a £15-20 million release clause. He is no different from Downing. The club are stupid too.

What was he supposed to say?!  How about a lot less than the utter stream of lies and bollocks he came out with!

Anyway, Man City fans hardly seem delighted with the news, so fuck him as he rots and finds out that he really isn't as good as he thinks he is.

At least Benteke has had the good grace to agree to his release fee clause being an accurate market price.

Whilst he may not be good enough for them he was comfortably one of our better players, who we have perhaps replaced with a guy who has never played in our league before (like Berson, Holman, KEA, Makoun etc).

I reckon Delph and his agent pitched the £8m release clause as the amount that we signed him for, therefore no financial loss apart from the wages whilst being injured...he earned his keep when he was on the pitch.

He doesn't score or assist enough for an advanced central midfielder for us to miss him, to be honest.

Least we're getting 8m, and not nothing.
