This I didn't know. But it emphasises the point about them wanting first team football. Delph would not be guaranteed that a year away from the Euros.
I'm not worrying about this.If there really is just a 10 mil clause then it could be a problem somewhere down the line, but I'd be shocked if he went anywhere before next summer.

I just don't see it, Delph would make himself look a real twat if he left now after all the fanfare surrounding the new contract.I know the cynics will accept it as part of the game but he made a point of standing against that attitude, saying the clubs stood by him and now it was time for him to stand by them.
