Quite agree although Sky managed to give that acolade to 'one shot' Sturridge.

For some reason i'm not surprised. Did Sturridge ever touch the ball apart from the goal?

First half I thought it was the old Delph tbh, sloppy passing, losing the ball with a heavy touch after a mazy run and a reckless foul that got him a yellow.

2nd half was much better and more like the standard he's set himself the last 6 months.

I agree with Lambert, if a midfield has to lose his place then it has to be KEA but I don't think Bacuna was that good at all in midfield and we improved a fair bit when KEA came on.

I agree with your analysis of Delph today soccerhq, have to say I think KEA is challenging Westwood if we are playing 2 in the middle with a playmaker in the future. That is coming from Westwood's biggest fan

I don't think either Westwood or Weimann could have much argument if they didn't start the Newcastle game.

I agree, but who would come in for them? Unless, of course, we sign the mythical playmaker.

You see Ash has to start everytime for me. He reads the game well and keeps possession ticking over with simple passes.

I know these aren't eyecatching things like a Delph mazy run and very often the perceived player who isn't doing much will get criticised when the team loses but nah Ash is a guaranteed starter in my mind.

He's a bit like Carrick really, player who gets a lot of stick but is a vital cog in the United midfield as he does the simple things very well.

SHQ, it's not that I don't love Westwood or appreciate what he does, more that KEA plays that game as well and is in better form - and I'm not sure we really need two in the side in winnable home games.

And he was appreciated for it last season. When he isn't playing well it will also be commented on.

But leave Bacuna in the side?

Agreed, which is why I think they should play against Rotherham toget them going (it's not as if we have a game next weekend.

Not much but nearly won a penalty at the end. Made more sense to give it to him then the club giving it to Bacuna.

Do the corporate sponsors still decide the MOTM in the ground? I swear they choose some players just for a laugh.
