http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/fabian-delph-u-turn-further-proof-6088186

Article in the mirror written by someone who appears to be trying to be a bigger c**t than the one who's just left us.

The closing line of "Delph himself was never boasting about 'loyalty', so those who bragged on his behalf were doing a decent professional a disservice." is such utter bullshit that I could smell it through my laptop.

That guy Dave Kidd or whatever his name is, this "journalist " typifies all that is wrong about football and those who write about it.

Delph must be a fucking nightmare to go to dinner with. He'd change his order repeatedly, only then to cancel saying that he isn't hungry after all and then eat yours once it arrives.

Delph rubbing it in a bit with that comment. No mention of hi time at Villa, think it might be a while before the fallout finally comes out

What you mean his two years on the treatment table in the good years or his three years fighting relegation in the fit years?

In 6 years we got 1 season of over 25 league games and just 3 goals. Not much to talk about really is there? He will be replaced easier than it feels right now.

I think that is a very perceptive and wise comment

As far as I'm concerned, he was part of a team that has not been good enough for this league for a few seasons now. Spend the cash, bin the lot of 'em,build a new team and move on... >:(

It was never a U turn, he was just haggling his wages up over the last week.
Lying wanker

He's signed for the same amount of money he was offered last wee. He's still a very rude word though.
Ha, Well if you believe that line

Of course you'll know better I take it?

They've upped his package over the last few days. No two ways about it IMHO.

If Delph didn't want to sign for £120K  a week I don't think £140k a week is really going to matter.

He's taking the piss even more with that statement. Exactly, why insert an £8m clause? He's had us over the barrel since Jan, it certainly wouldn't have been out idea. Utter twat.

Over a 5 year contract that's £5m more . Of course it matters and his agent would be all over that .

Every report I've heard has stated that he's not been offered any more than he was last week but obviously they didn't speak to you.
