On the way home. There was a feeling before the game amongst the crowd that we'd win. Not an over confident type feeling just a feeling.

Mind you we were a bunch of smug buggers after!

Delph has shown how strong and determined he can be to plough his own furrow, not getting dragged into shenanigans with other young players. I am delighted for him and also pleased with the contribution of Al Ahmadi. Lambert has got to have credit for this.

Luna's goal? Dennis Mortimer vs Liverpool.

Benteke? He is not only brilliant but has drawn great performances out of our other players.

What a great day. Let's enjoy it!

Totally agree, I admit I have been a critic of kea in the past but today he looked a vastly improved player , the midfield trio were superb as were the whole team - cant wait to watch it again , a really good day .

Delighted. I'm absolutely ecstatic with that. Great performance from us.  :)

The second penalty reminded me a lot of the Roger Johnson penalty on Gabby a few years ago - the one about which Graham Poll said that it doesn't matter if you get the ball, because you have to be in control of the ball. Koscielny got a touch on the ball but if he hadn't brought down Gabby then he would have been through. Everybody's watching these super slowed-down replays of whether or not Koscielny got a touch on the ball, as if looking to whether or not a batsman nicked it, but it doesn't matter. Penalty - no question in my view.

Agree. In fact that was exactly the example I gave when explaining why it was a penalty to someone earlier. Why do so many pundits not know the rules of the game? It was the same with that incident against the noses with so many people saying it was not a penalty.

Fantastic result and great team performance. PL please get a dominating CB who has positional awareness and aerial power. This position is our real weakness and we have now got to resolve it before it hurts us. Fairplay to Clark today (not a fan) he did well when he came on and kept everything simple .......
