The 'All in one' match thread is a super idea. It makes a lot of sense.

I think we can draw this one, 2-2.

Benteke brace.

They will have no new players to unveil, will struggle to break us down in the first 20 mins, the fans will get restless, we'll go 1-0 up.  This will send the majority of the crowd apoplectic, we then go 2 - 0 up.  Arsenal then get themselves together and throw everything at us.  Eventually we break and they pull one back with 10 mins left.  The final 10 minutes + 3 minutes stoppage time take 20 minutes to complete.  We hold on for the win.

Everyone then goes to bed totally exhausted.

2-2

Sammy Morgan and Pongo Waring for us.
Cliff Bastin and Charlie Buchan for them.

Bastin is not match fit for this Saturday.

May have to change my prediction. Is Dennis Compton playing for them then?

Neither is Jack Crayston!

Compton will still be playing cricket and not selected, unless they bowl the opposition out by lunch. In which case he will jump on a bus from Lords changing out of his whites into his football kit in time to make kick off at the Emirates.
The Bastin injury story is untrue. He has had a fall out with Herbert Chapman, due to his agent trying to get him a big money move to Huddersfield Town.

three points in the bag, open game, both teams concede, first on match of the day.

Ok, realistically we will get the first three, but as we are not Chelski, Manure or Shitty, we cannot get the fourth with the unique way that the BBC is "funded"

Are there any away pubs in particular that are worth a visit near the ground?

I recall frequenting a place right next to Finsbury Park tube station before, which seemed decent.

We could do with a result like the 2-3 in 1988-89, Rambo got two and set off on his great season before heading to Munich.

I fancy us to get something. Arsenal are a decent side. They're 2-3 signings from pushing the Manchester clubs and Chelsea this season. I'm glad they haven't done anything yet. If we score early the crowd will get on their back a little. Benteke will score. He just looks well up for it. So do Gab and Andy who could also have some joy.

I think we'll concede but if it comes down to a battle of goals, I think we can do them, as they don't really have a deadly striker. Giroud is okay. Podolski is decent but not prolific, certainly if he plays largely wide. Walcott is the biggest worry because he'll have acres to exploit behind our full-backs.

We need to go for it and attack, which we will.

2-2 or 3-2 Villa.
