It doesn't seem to work. It asks for a promo code which I don't have. Why can't you just put in the Client Reference Number off your Season Ticket, that would be easier?

I've emailed them.
That would make more sense but we're talking about Villa. Good luck.

And yet if I say to my missus that I want to watch every friendly on AVTV, I bet she'll moan and say that the World Cup has only just finished.

Women, they're so odd.    ;)

Good luck.

Ta. I'll need it I reckon! Of course if the bastards could just arrange a friendly of a weekend I'd go and watch it and this wouldn't be a problem.

I have been a season ticket holder for years and I have never been able to access AVTV - it just sends me in an infuriating loop.

Yeah, I'll probably be at that one. I'm in a mood about all the friendlies at stadia that I haven't been to yet being on stupid days. As we never do anything in the cups, I like to use pre-season games to add to my list of grounds attended.

Got it working I think!

I emailed them and they sent me a code to put in. I just tried it out watching highlights of Villa 6 Blackburn 4.

If any ST holder is too lazy to write their own email you can just C&P this if you like...

To: customerservice@performgroup.com

"Dear Sir/Madam,

I was trying to log on to AVTV via the Aston Villa club website to ensure that I will be able to watch the team's pre-season games which start tomorrow.

It says I don't have an active subscription but, as I understand it, I should get access free as I am a season ticket holder (both for the previous and the upcoming season).

It asks for a promo code but I don't have it.

FYI, my details for the address and season ticket are as follows..."

Then put your details in.

Finish off with...

"Boomshanka, love and hugs,

Emile

I've missed Jack. Why wasn't he covering the World Cup?

I don't know but he would have been better than Clive Tyldesley.

Yeah the last train back tonight leaves about 10 minutes into the second half, which was a fat lot of use.

Watch all of Villa’s 2014 domestic pre-season friendlies LIVE on AVTV. Looks like they're making this a regular thing which is good.
It will be good, but that's only if it works. Last pre-season they monumentally screwed the pooch.

Yes but they refunded people and gave them a free month. I highly doubt we'll have any problems later.

Spoiler for Hiden:
Fingers crossed

From the O/S
Our new season ticket holders for the 2014-15 campaign have been emailed start-up codes for AVTV this morning.

This ensures you will receive full access ahead of the live streaming of tonight's Mansfield v Villa friendly encounter.

We are also screening our first-team matches against Chesterfield, Walsall and Parma live on the club's in-house television channel.

New season ticket holders also can enjoy all the news and views surrounding the USA Tour 2014, including special features, press conferences, player interviews, audio commentary and match highlights.

Of course, your AVTV access will also enable you to look over all the pre-season videos currently on site, including an exclusive with manager Paul Lambert on the season ahead and an in-depth chat with Jores Okore about his return to full fitness.

There are also the first video interviews with newboys Joe Cole, Philippe Senderos and Kieran Richardson.

Apart from the sound going a bit iffy a couple of times it was very good quality. And lets be honest, losing Jack for a few seconds is hardly the worst thing that could happen.
