I suspect the only games you'll be able to watch will be the ones Sky choose to televise.

I found this link for watching the Championship in America. No sure if it'll be any good.

This is my first go round with AVTV. Being from the States I need to find a way to watch matches. Does AVTV offer a live stream for all league games?

Unlikely. AVTV have always been pretty lazy. For example you could see every premier league Aston Villa game replayed in full. using AVTV's stream, on spanish TV over here when we were in the premier league, but never on AVTV itself (yeah crazy I know). This generally was not an issue because the non AVTV Premier Lgeaue coverage in the states is excellent, way better than the UK. You can watch every single PL game live

For the Championship even though the rights are even easier I assume AVTV will continue to take the lazy path and either only show highlights or crappy audio coverage only during games.

Beyond that Championship coverage in the states is relatively poor with usually 3 games or so each week.

Unless AVTV is going to miraculously start taking their job seriously I am afraid we are going to have less games to watch :(

I thought that I'd check out the Rotherham highlights on AVTV.

I've logged in but the video only plays for a minute before stopping.

It looks like I need to activate a subscription.

I thought that us ST holders got AVTV for free. Is that not the case any more ?

You should have been sent an email on the 18th July, which gave you instructions on how to subscribe for another season. If you didn't get one, email avtv.support@avfc.co.uk

Yes it is, you should have received an Email from them with an activation code.

Really frustrated with it. Tried to put promo code in and it said I was already subscribed for the season but when I go to watch anything it only plays for a minute and is still asking for a subscription. Thanks for the e-mail address

I've sent a email asking for the code.

The same thing happened last season.

Agreed. And just like every year instead of putting up the full games (which they have) they instead chop it down to highlights.

This year it is doubly irritating knowing there is the full game footage right there but we cannot watch it because AVTV chooses not to show it and because we are in the Championship there are few streams of the full game out there archived. So frustrating.

Is it correct that they choose not to show full games or are there broadcast/digital rights restrictions ?

I can also only view a minute. Assumed it was my phone being crap.

Without logging in I could only view a one minute clip but once logged in I could view the full 9-10 minutes, but as others have said you need an activation code for this season's AVTV which was emailed to (apparently not all) ST holders 3 or 4 weeks ago

As far as I am aware there are none. There are non for the Premier league (see ChelseaTV etc) so I doubt there are any for the Championship.

Its just pure lazyness from AVTV as far as anyone can tell. Hopefully Xia can get round to rooting out the slackers there that after he is done with the squad.
