Looks like we're still applauding.

I'm going to give it a miss this year I think.

Aston Villa FC - Official
We apologise for the technical problems with this afternoon's live AVTV stream. Our technical partners Perform are working to resolve these issues as quickly as possible.

Perform - hmm very apt

We get the cheapest service going for everything.....

I write software that connects to, and uses, Perform's video streams, and their service is usually very good.

They cover tens of thousands of events every year, obscure horse races, the lot, so I would be amazed if this is their fault.

Ill take your word for it mate. this is my first experience of avtv though, I have just signed up to pay 5 a month and I am currently listening to jack ass on his mobile phone! :)

Having promoted the bejeesus out of the live stream and taken our subs, the club should refund the first month or something as a gesture of goodwill for this mess-up.
Here, here. If it's gonna be the same for the rest of the games I'm gonna go mental.

Bloody hell. This team don't deserve to start at Arsenal.

I wonder if we'll win 8-3 and Lambert will call us fickle?

I reckon 3-1 at half time. We'll win 8-3.

We can't seem to handle big center backs at the set pieces. I'm worried about our backline still, very much. Okore has missed too much pre-season too. That won't help him in his bedding in. A decent, experienced CH is a must.

for all the good feeling around the club, we cannot keep a bloody clean sheet! I just don't get the ineptitude that allows this to continue happening

Conceding from a corner, who would have thought it.

Another headed goal from a corner. When are they going to get the set-piece defending sorted?!

I wasn't being entirely serious, obviously.
