1-1. I'm wondering if our first team can go through pre-season without being on another scoreline.

3-3

No clean sheet, a Benteke hat trick.

He'll get some stick from our fans during the match, and take it badly. When the game ends, he'll go on the rampage and destroy most of the housing stock in the town. By the time it's finished, Chiltern will have closed down the station (what's the point, no human can ever live there again), and there will be a stream of refugees heading for the M40.

Oh, sorry, I've slipped into last season's Benteke meme.

4-1 Villa with no Benteke. Helenius hatrick and one for Gabby.

We are just 90 minutes away from our first clean sheet in 2013.

Although I'd like to see a Villa win I'd be just as happy to see a 'Wycombe Wanderers 0' scoreline whatever we may or may not get.

I don't see why Benteke shouldn't play in this. It's a friendly, it's designed for players to find their fitness. If he plays, he scores. 2-2. Benteke, Helenius.

So, you're saying that Benteke playing means we'll concede more? Benteke out!
