I've just come off the phone from our kid, who's on holiday up in Northumberland, and I was explaining to him how my feed suddenly came back on when, with us 2-1 and supposedly hanging on for a famous win, our left back got played clean through in the inside right position, gave the keeper the eyes and finished like he was Messi or Iniesta.

Luna's goal reminded me of Chrissy Price's goal at Highbury many moons ago.

I don't envy Joe Bennetts task of trying to dislodge this guy at left back but its a good thing, competition for places is what we have been lacking for a while.

I like Bennett and think he improved a lot as the season went on but it will difficult to get a  place in the team for him given the start luna has made , the competition for places now though is healthy and keeps players on their toes - the bench is looking far stronger than last season.
