Not read through the rest of the thread yet, but I assume I'm not the first to say it - the idea that reproducing a list of football games is a punishable offence is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. Seriously, who thinks to copyright a fucking LIST?? And who the Hell gets pissy when it gets written down by somebody else?

When human civilisation collapses and the end times come, we'll look back at stupidity like this as the starting point.

Ridonk.

Agreed - it's almost as bad as Gareth Bale trademarking arranging your fingers in a certain way. What's he going to do if someone 'breeches' this copyright? And would said action make him look an even bigger prat?

Stand out game on Boxing day is Man city v Liverpool.
Ours is not particularly attractive (to the masses) so hopefully we will avoid a 'stupid o'clock' kick off time for a change.

First game of season, London.
Last game of season, london. Disgusting.....
At least one of those games should be a home game for fans.
Very unfair, hopefully get a draw at the emirates and sneak a win against those hub cap stealing scouters...UTV.

The good aspect of the difficult start is that those sides won't be performing at their peak yet and Arsenal may have CL qualifiers on their mind. We could have done with a more winnable game in there somewhere but so be it.

FFS so many years now since we had a home game as opening fixture!

Season before last, Blackburn with AMcL, wasn't it?
So, not that long ago

Fulham away was first game that season.

Stand corrected.
Thanks

Woodo, what if I copy and paste the fixtures and tweak them? Like move Arsenal to the last game of the season and Spurs the first...then explain that's a mistake...is that still breaching copyright?

Or...if I just type out every fixture in bold, italics...is that still breach of copyright?

This is a serious post before you ask.

I'm sure there was a time when a site posted the full fixtures but changed the names to nicknames etc. So the first 3 would be Gooners (A) Racists (H) Chavs (A), iirc it still caused issues.

We could do it like this....Wenger (a) the Saturday after Friday 16th August
Rogers (h)  the Saturday after Friday 23rd August

etc etc

Arse, 'The Mighty Reds YNWA' and Chelsea to start, away first and last games of the season again - either someone doesn't like us or they're taking the piss. Surprised they didn't make the Palace game away on Boxing Day just to rub it in!

The Palace fans have the reverse journey, though. And I could see it becoming the 5.30 TV game.

Seems like a perfect token game to put on as per us v Sturke a couple of years back and 'The Mighty Reds YNWA' v Sturke last year

We could. It would still breach copyright.

Also, Ull v Yanited & West Ham v Arse will be picks
