Completely pointless predictions for opening fixtures:

Arsenal v Sunderland
Cardiff v Liverpool
Crystal Palace v Man City
Everton v Villa
Fulham v Swansea
Man Utd v Hull
Newcastle v Chelsea
Norwich v West Ham
Southampton v Spurs
West Brom v Stoke

Or at least get a banner that makes more sense than the 1874 one on The Holte.

I always miss the first couple of games due to still being on my jolly hols - Aix En Provence again this year - so Palace or Fulham away the second or third Saturday in would suit me as a good opportunity to see the 'new' team and meet up with friends from here

As above for me - slumming it up in Saumur on 17th. Knowing my luck first game will be my local - i.e. Everton at Goodison !

As there us a two week gap between the opening football league and premier league fixtures its hard to predict if villa will be home or away.
With wolves away first I thought if we played the week after we'd definitely be at home.

Do you think with all these signings already Lambert thought we actually had a game tomorrow ?

And on the eve of Fixtures Day, the excited faithful assemble to contemplate the annual ritual. Behold, the fixtures announced by the organisers of the Premier League on that day. And lo, they are repeatedly changed by the paymaster charlatans of Sky and BT Sport until 330 days thereafter.

And not forgetting because of our successful FA Cup run this coming season.  :D

We've begun away for the last two seasons. Want a home game this time.

Image floating on Facebook of a computer screen with the fixtures on. Swansea away first then west ham at home. Could obviously be bollocks

Home game. Hot August day. Loads of new players. New home shirt. No jacket necessary. No idea whether Villa shall be great or shit or dull all season. No current intell on the best place to get two pre-match pints within a reasonable time. New edition of H&V. Balti on the way home. Ultimate pleasure.

My guess (based on random choosing) is as follows:

Aston Villa v Tottenham Hotspur
Crystal Palace v West Bromwich Albion
Everton v Cardiff City
Fulham v Southampton
Hull City v Swansea City
Manchester United v Newcastle United
Norwich City v Chelsea
Stoke City v Liverpool
Sunderland v Manchester City
West Ham United v Arsenal

One of Arsenal/Spurs will be at home, I'd imagine Cardiff and Swansea will rotate too.

Home game first please. Gets some points on the board as early as possible.
