Snobs is getting knocked down for some kind of redevelopment sadly.  Or not sadly.  I hate the place but I still end up there every time I go out on the piss in brum, it'll be like losing a limb.

It also remains only the second place I've seen a Villa player out in public - Gareth Barry in the urinals about 6 months after he went to city  , (Mark Bosnich in the Safeway in Bromsgrove was the first).

Played football with a Bulgarian mate of mine last night and when I asked him about Tonev, he didn't know that we had signed him, but knew that he was at Posnan and said that he was a good player.

On a side note, he knew all about the 19th minute applause for Stan as well.

Surprised it hasn't been mentioned - on here or even the official site news, that the interview Tonev gave to the club and quoted earlier in the thread was translated by...Stilyan Petrov! Well-worth a watch on avtv, quite surreal seeing Stan taking on a "new" job.
Unless Stan comes to the dressing room for every match I'm not sure how Lambert is gonna communicate with Tonev or are mumbles the same in every language?
The question on Petrov being an influence on his decision to come here (Tonev apparently saying "Not really") was answered professionally and translated seriously by Stan himself which was quite funny.
