Welcome. Do nothing less than sweat blood and run through walls for the club and you will be loved.

The reason its not official yet is Mr Lambert still on holiday, back on Monday.
Lambert is hardly on holiday mate. He is working hard to build a squad to have a proper go at European football next season. Holiday, no.

There's a Bulgarian supporters club because they were at the Lions Club Awards the other week.
I think our poster tsvet is a member of the Bulgarian Lions
Hi all! Unfortunately due to work and family commitments I am not as often on H&V as I used to be.
I am not currently a member, but yes there is a Bulgarian Lions club - http://bulgarianlions.eu
Typically Villa are not the most popular club in Bulgaria, but because of Stan it is currently a lot more popular than what it was 25 years ago when I started supporting them. Now after Tonev signs (and possibly Popov if it happens to be true) it will surely grow even more in popularity.
Regarding Tonev - yes I am excited, but with the normal reserves about how he adapts to the league and lifestyle there. Eastern europeans tend to find it more difficult to settle in Britain, but since Tonev left Bulgaria very young and since he looks a smart and hardworking guy I guess he will have no problem. At least Stan is positive about him.

Agreed, he's taken a few days off away from the club but still in the country and at the end of a phone.

He could be in Australia and he'd still be at the end of a phone.

For someone with such a great shot on him off either foot, it's noticeable that he doesn't score that many. He's got 1/2/3/4 goals in his last four seasons. Maybe that means he'll get 5 next, though I doubt he'll go straight into the team.

Perhaps there are a lot of shots that go miles wide?

Not sure how many assists he tends to get.

Any idea why tsvet? Normally we find that Southern Europeans and South Americans struggle and Scandinavians and Dutch/German/French tend to fit in quite well. Surely its not the pace of the game and hectic schedule? What can we as supporters do to make them feel " more at home"?
