I'll be at all three, Frank. The offer still stands to take you from HD for any or all of them, if you need it.
The Rödinghausen game is the fly in the ointment regarding travel. We are looking at two options; come back in a taxi or hire a car. The latter will have an adverse effect on beer consumption, at least before the game.
Option 3, Jon: Christian from the German Villans will drive you to Melle station after the game

Very kind of Christian to offer, Frank but had just made alternative arrangements.

Just enjoying a couple if well deserved beers in the hotel.

Some freinds of mine started off this morning by road. They're probably in luxembourg very  lost.

I believe the Villa have got two cars, Fiats, which left Vp this am Germany Bound.

I don't think Benteke was in either.

For those going to Bochum, the Bermuda Triangle seems to be the place to go before and after the game. Seems very lively.

That's nice. Only a 5 min walk from me hotel room apparently.

On the 7.50 eurotunnel in the morning. Driving to Dortmund then on the train to Bochum. Will keep an eye out for you.

Can't see it posted ( not sure how to start a thread). Premier doing a fantastic Ireland trip for around
£170, flights, two nights, finishing off with a night with God and Taylor (Moor Greens finest).

Anybody in Bochum already, are there any storage lockers in the main railway station? The local kick off time and the hotel check in time is a little problem!
In hope!

Thank you Frank, that is much appreciated, I could not find anything on the internet.

I did find a nice article and photograps on the VfL Bochum website, their fans reminiscing on the trip to Villa Park in 1980.

It's at times like this that I realise I can read and understand more German than I could ever understand when I hear it, if that makes sense!
Enjoyed reading the article, anyway.
