Its been a tough season, the guys you are having a go at have been doing all they can on the pitch...leave them alone

Vlaar horrendous there. It seems one of our biggest defensive issues is concentration.

Not just in defence, either. We've been guilty of it all over the park all too often this season.

Defensive errors aside we also have no idea how to unlock a defence. If we are not countering we seem clueless. Playmaker needed I think.

But he continues to make big mistakes that cost us vital points. The left back position is a weak spot at Villa and it needs sorting out.

I would say that of late, the weakness has moved from left back to centre back.

That's not an excuse.

Agreed, our centre halves are a real problem.

They're professional footballers to constantly repeat the same mistakes, safe or not, is unacceptable.

Worry for me is we look toothless without Benteke. When he's on the pitch and the ball flies over the halfway line, something always happens. Very little today apart from the first 5 minutes.

Bring N'zogbia on, someone with pace to run at Wigan at least centrally.

There is a lot of money at stake here, we should be playing a lot better. Come on Villa.

The defence as a whole has let us down all season. Thank god the season is over and we're safe. It needs strengthening in the summer, absolutely no excuses will be accepted.
