Woman in the club shop on Saturday was saying they can't wait to get rid of Macron. She said try are the most arrogant company they have had to work with. Will not be renewing two year deal. Bought my little one the aged 5-6 kit and last years socks were great, fitted just under his knee fully stretched. These ones would fit a 15 year old. Had to go back Sunday to swap them. Gave me a pair of aged 3-4 and these were better. Let me keep long pair too so fair play.

too earlier to guess next years kit Manufacturer ?

Umbro, if they're still going, or Puma.  Big "no thanks" to Adidas after seeing their West Ham effort.

Adidas are always rubbish, the Chelsea kit is horrible year in and year out.

Yes, agree about Puma. Much as it pains me to say it, I have really liked their strips for Spurs and others.

All this years Puma efforts are to the same template, which is very lazy.  Much depends on how well were doing come Christmas, I assume.

Does seem a bit strange having a change strip which can't be used again a quarter of the division though...

One word. Kerching.
Why not?
I'm sure it would have been taken into account during design and choosing.
If you look at our two kits together there's no reason for us not to use the away shirt vs WHU and teams in red. There's an awful lot of white and the 'Blackcurrent' is nothing like claret or red.

Who not what?

Why not use the away top at West ham, you mean?

I reckon there's far too much similarity there.

If not, why are we having a third kit this season? Coincidence?

I think it was pretty obvious what I was on about!!

As for the away top being similar to WHU home top, you must behaving a laugh, there is nothing similar at all.
If a team played in our away shirt at Villa Park you're saying that you'd have a problem identifying which team was which?

No, I wouldn't, and it's not about the kits looking the same, it's the fact that the away kit has so much of a colour which is very similar to our home colour.

We'll see, though, when we play West Ham.

Our away kit is much a fashion piece as an away kit. I think we'll wear everywhere possible, but old limey will make an appearance during a number of games especially West Ham.

Me too. I think it will also look much better once we see the players actually playing in it. I think it's one of the best in ages, very different. The home kit is traditional and solid. I don't like the collar though personally. The away kit I will be buying.

I thought that about the home kit until I got a closer look to it. Way too fussy, don't like the collar, and that pointless flap up top looks daft, too. Not the worst ever, but not one of the best.

I've never really understood why in trying to come up with a traditional design a company tries to put their own little unique twist on it.

Mrs TV once cooked a tremendous meatloaf. Simple, just some basic spices and onion. Then the next time around she added something to it that just took away from the perfection of the original recipe. I asked her why she needed to mess with a good thing and all she said was she wanted to try something a little different. Given that I was the audience and I liked the original unfussy version, why mess with it? I think kit manufacturers do that sometimes. They start with the basic classy design and complicate it thinking they are doing us favour but all they are doing is adding what they like not necessarily what the customer wants.

i bet that is the first time there has been a comparison between  footy kit and meatloaf but the sentiment is bang on

Personally, I think the only game we'd struggle to wear our away top will be at Arsenal.
We'll just have to wait and see.
