I like the fact that my season tickets cost £100 or so less because of them.

I can guarantee that they'll get exactly the same as the revenue I gave Genting though.
Considering it was his job at MBNA I would of expected Apple to give us £50 million a year and a free Mac book with every season ticket sold.Sorry replying to the wrong post but you get the gist.
I just hope its for bloody good money.

This is one time we really can blame Paul Faulkner.
What for? - for negotiating the best possible financial deal for the club?
I suppose he couldd have gone out and sold the rights to Villa Park - how does the "The FlyBe Stadium in Aston" sound? Or the "Aston Ale Arena"?

I don't know how much we're being paid for this deal but I suspect PF and Lerner are no mugs at the commercial stuff. We have been crap on the field for three seasons and - like everthing else - it's the on-pitch performance that determines the finances.

Aston Ale Arena does have a ring to it...
had a feeling someone might say that as I typed it!

I met a couple of the Directors of AsianLogic (Dafabet) at the G2E Asia gaming conference a couple of years back in Macau. Tom Hall, the founder of the company was a speaker. They are a very successful company who have presence in both online and land based gaming operations.

Don't like it, don't care if they offered the most cash. It's probably the only thing I'm a puritanical little Hitler about; there's a lot of people that suffer with addiction to gambling, and the only people that get rich out of it are the bookies. It should be illegal to advertise it in my view.

God, I'm such a boring shite.

I bet you it will be ok.....

This from Wikibollox on them :-

Sponsorship[edit]

In 2011, Football legend and popular TV pundit Alan Shearer signed as Asian Sports Ambassador for Dafabet and to introduce Shearer to the Asian sports community.[2][3]
New to the Premier League for the 2012/13 season, Everton[4][5] and West Bromwich Albion partners with Dafabet to bring the brand[6][7] to the Barclays Premier League at Goodison Park for further presence to the worldwide football audience.
Dafabet have been the principal sponsor of Players Tour Championship 2012/2013 – Finals, a professional ranking snooker tournament took place between 12–17 March 2013) [8][9] at the Bailey Allen Hall in Galway, Ireland.[10]

I wouldn't want my kids being a walking billboard for any advertisement whatever business they're in.

If this money can keep Benteke at the club and maybe buy a few of his mates, then I don't care.

Don't worry. Strictly speaking, you can't actually use Dafabet in the uk anyway.

In which case, strictly speaking, shouldn't you be glad we've got a gambling sponsor, as that guarantees that they won't be a walking billboard?

So basically you wouldn't be happy regardless of who were our sponsors, and did that include Acorns?
