Anyone know where I can stream MOTD? For some stupid reason they don't put it on the iplayer. It's repeated in the morning but I haven't seen 8am of a Sunday in a long time and don't plan on starting now.

He needs to play in midfield. A solid left back, and push Bennett into the 3 in midfield like Whittingham and Bale have before him, would suit him down to the ground once used to it.

The voice of reason! But Lambert is single minded and will persist with him until he comes good.

Over last 8 games, apparently we are 4th best team in the premiership
Just shows how deep in the shit we were a couple of months ago. We've won 5 and drawn one of our last eight games, which is way better than any other club down there, and we're still not mathematically safe.

I think we're just about OK now, though. I have thought all along that we'll get at least a point against Chavski, and if we still need something at Wigan on the last day, we'll get that too. Let's all believe, people!

Bennett needs to cut out the stupid shirt pulling.

Oh, and Grant Holt is a donkey. And a c**t.

Grant Holte caused trouble for our defenders all afternoon
he's not a great footballer rather limited actually, but it's funny if an opposition player bullies our defence he is a dirty bastard, yet if one of ours does the same he's been unplayable,
it's one eyed support at its finest

Bennett was woefull yesterday, the worst defensive display I have seen all season, absolute rubbish, he won't get away with that again, he could cost us big time if he carries on doing stupid things the whole game

Holt is a dirty bastard because he is in the same mould as Kevin Davies; a fat, whinging, all elbows knob head.

That probably might be the most important winning goal Gabby will score for a while. That second goal was just a class finish. I thought their 5 man midfield made it difficult for us and a few months ago that's a game we would have lost but having said that, we should have had four in the end.  Also a quick mention for Lichaj who did really well considering he has'nt played for a while.

Thankfully the beer in the Compleat Angler was better than last year.

A lot of Bennett's fouling is from a lack of body strength.  Spend the break in the gym and I think he will be decent.  I don't think he really warranted the yellow card so early, maybe he deserved one later for persistent fouling but there was no way he deserved to go off.  I think the ref had the sense to realize that.

I listened on Radio Free 80s (or something, whatever that is/was), they reckoned he 'did' Baker, left his foot in and raked his studs. Perhaps they should've been down to ten long before we should've.

They jumped for a header and Holt kicked his leg out. Dirt bastard. I hate him.

There's a lot more to his weaknesses at the back than just being small.  He's always out of position and doesn't link up at all well with his centre back.  Defensively he's just bloody awful, I'd rather see him on the left of midfield, as he has good energy and gets the ball in well.

I liked the bit where Weimann boots the ball into orbit and out of carrow rd to waste a few precious seconds ;-)

I did wonder last night why MotD did not bother showing Gabby's chance at the end of the first half, or Benteke's booking if they wanted to carry on the story of Villa being potentially down to ten.

Agreed. Once he crosses the half way line he's different player and an actual asset to the team. In his own half though he can be a liability. How many daft free kicks did he give away for silly shirt pulling yesterday. The left back position has to be looked at next season.
