In typical Villa fashion it wouldn't surprise me if this ended up 0-0 after monday night.

I fear similar. But, the sun is out, the 6-1 has happened, the win would mean end of season strolls in the last 2 games. Surely....

Travelling up from London for the Norwich game, predicting a 2 -1 Villa win.

Recommendations on good pubs by the ground are welcomed

There's one element not mentioned so far - Lambert will be  back to his old club still angry at their behaviour.

He will sorely want to put Norwich to the sword, if not for the players but for his own satisfaction of sticking it to his chairman.

1-3.

True. Perhaps more importantly, he will know the majority of their side inside out and should therefore know how to exploit their weaknesses.

Keep the same side, especially our Cilla, who adds that bite we've been missing all season, and I reckon we'll be too good for them.

3-1 Villa. Gabby, Andi, Christian to bag the goals.

Would like to see Sylla score. It would do a lot for his confidence. If we score early they will have to come at us and then we could pick them off on the counter attack. I am going to anticipate our first clean sheet in centuries. 0-2 Gabby-Sylla. Wigan lose and we are safe .......

I have a bad feeling one of ours might get a red in this one.... still going draw...monday night has made me less confident!

reading theur forums they are polar opposites in opinion, some think they are better than us and will edge it, some are brown pants at our forward line. If their 2 centre backs dont pull through it would help a lot.

Hat tricks for Benteke, Weimann and Gabby.  Some yokel with an own goal as well.

After Monday night, as long as Legion's not going I think we'll win. We need to keep him away from all our games, at least at Villa Park.

And Dave has to start the match thread.

I think we need to win this one, if we're looking to avoid a last day do or die scenario. I'd have taken four points from these games. But we need to be four points clear of Wigan in a couple of games time, and you have to assume they'll get at least one win between now and the end.

Norwich have only lost three times at home, which points to a tense nervy, tight game. But with our goalscoring away form, as long as we don't give away a stupid goal or two, we've a great chance of winning.

If Bassong and / or Turner are out, our chances increase greatly.

I don't think there's any real debate about the side to start though? Must be the same XI surely.

I don't think I am ready to think about other games yet but, if forced to hazard a guess, I will go for us to win 3-1.

God knows. This team, this manager, I mean, who knows? Unpredictable, but never boring.

Feels like a draw to me. We should blow them away after the weekend, but they're still in danger themselves, and this is one they probably have targeted as winnable so i doubt they'll be as slack as Suderland were

1-1
