I have surprised myself by buying a ticket on a whim.  All top tips about parking and pubs would be welcome. UTV.

when we went to the cup game last year we parked at the County Hall(just off the by-pass) and walked there, not far at all and I believe just a short walk into town for alehouses too.

A bazillion - 1 to us, hat-tricks all round, even Brad weighing in with a penalty.

I really need to come down from Monday

Many years ago when we were promoted into the old First Division every player had scored except Jimmy Coombes, the goalkeeper.
Rumour has it that the plan was if we were awarded a penalty Jim would have taken it.

If I remember correctly, we WERE awarded a penalty in the last game in the 3rd Division (v Chesterfield), but as it was 0-0 at the time, the captain and usual penalty-taker, Ian Ross took it. We won 1-0.

In typical Villa fashion it wouldn't surprise me if this ended up 0-0 after monday night.

Same team as Monday night for me and I think we'll win this one.  An early goal for us will put a lot of pressure on them.

Win this and the party can start, Chelsea will be put to the sword and Wigan will just hate us having a party at their expense

Must have been an earlier game, Ian Ross scored from open play against Chesterfield. Side foot half volley over the keep from the corner of the penalty area.

A few facts to consider...

Villa in good form and high on confidence
Norwich in poor form and low on confidence
Norwich cant score but Villa cant defend
Villa can score and Norwich have defenders out injured (?)
Paul Lambert will want to win against his old club
His old club will want to beat Paul Lambert

...we've already beaten them 4-1 at Carrow Rd this season so no reason why it cant be repeated...I just hope we dont get complacent or over confident after one really good result against Sunderland.

Norwich 1-4 Villa

I've always been pretty confident about this game and Monday night has only reaffirmed my confidence. This is pretty similar to the Stoke game really. Like Stoke were, Norwich are on bad form. Though they probably have an even more powderpuff attack than Pulis' thugs. Lots of anxiety and unrest amongst the fans who are unhappy with the negative tactics of Hughton. As I said before the Stoke game, if we can get an early goal that will kill any atmosphere being generated by the home fans. We should really be getting a clean-sheet against these but I've given up believing we can get one now (given we couldn't even get one against teams as inept as Stoke and Sunderland).                                                                                      With that in mind, I'll go for 2-1 to us. Weimann brace.
