As I said in the relegation thread, we're going to keep a clean sheet this weekend.  We have to get one before the end of the season, and it's coming on Saturday.

0-2 (Benteke, Sylla)

My confidence is what's worrying me the most tbh.

I was just about to say the same! I'm usually a worrier when it comes to predicting results but for this one I'm extremely confident of 3 points. You'll all be pleased to know that the last time I felt like this was Stoke away.

4-0 Villa with Benteke getting another hatrick and Gabby for 1 as well. We are going to win all of our remaining games.

Me too - i was supremely confident at stoke and feel the same about this - looking like a nice bank holiday weekend with many making the trip to Yarmouth after the game - unfortunately I'm working for the next 5 days until Tuesday but will be home in time for kick off - enjoy your weekend all and lets hope that we take a massive step to safety!

Good point.
We have had a couple of weeks where the vast majority of other results have gone against us.
We need the 'perfect storm' this weekend of Norwich, Sunderland, Newcastle and Wigan all losing.

Last time I felt this confident we had just beaten Liverpool at Anfield. then ...

Norwich aren't chelsea though, but we might fail to beat them as we failed to beat Fulham.

Draw, since when have Villa ever allowed us to relax.

Yep

1-1 - They score early, we have frustrating amount of missed chances and Darren Bent to get the equaliser late on.

This is our big opportunity. Our last 4 wins have been against teams around us. if we can keep that record up for the Norwich game then we'll be all but safe.

But, we're Aston Villa. We don't do it easy.

Win this and I think we're safe. Lets not get too cocky though.

Just as we had to put the negatives from the defeat against Man United out of our minds, we can't get carried away about the positives from Monday. Yes, we were fantastic, but each game is different. Norwich also have their survival to play for, plus the added incentive of their old manager returning. We'll be buoyed by the Sunderland demolition, but I worry about hubris and complacency conspiring to undo our good work - it's happened a number of times before during matches and notably after the win at Anfield. We know we'll probably concede, but can we keep up our scoring record? I'm not so sure, so I'm going for 1:1.

Thankfully, the Villa proved me wrong on Monday. I hope they do again.
