Alan Hansen reckons Remys goal was better than Lowtons cause he run 50 yards with the ball. What a prick. He can never say anything positive about Villa. Get Paul McGrath on that panel. The programme would be more balanced instead of having a one eyed Red Scotsman ......
I said this on the post match thread Bentekes goal was much better than Lowton's.Brilliantly beat his defender ran through powerfully and was totally confident he could beat the goalkeeper although he had Bent to his left in a much easier position to stick it away. He then beat the goalkeeper on his wrong side and that was harder than it looks. A quite magnificent goal.Lowtons was a fine and highly spectacular goal (rather like the goals Cafu scored for Brazil) he caught it just right.Benteke for me.You may of course beg to differ?

2) Aston Villa would be a big loss to the Premier LeagueAfter Stoke City went down 3-1 at home to a progressive Aston Villa team, Charlie Adam said: "He has a good side there, Paul Lambert. They pass and showed intensity." To win at the Britannia Stadium is rare – despite the Potters' dire form it was only a third league defeat there this season – and Lambert's side prevailed by having the courage to stick with the philosophy espoused by him. Lambert is a young manager with a young team who are enjoyable to watch. If they beat the drop, they should emerge from the summer even better and an exciting prospect to light up the division more regularly next season.
