I think Keane is okay.  Not as a manager, he's evidently quite crap at that, but as a pundit, he's great, the nearest thing we have to Eamonn Dunphy, that can't be a bad thing.

Hes a brilliant pundit.

All that simmering anger and the way he seems to be holding back from calling the rest of them a bunch of c***s.

Considering he has always wanted to be the best and has got into trouble in the past for telling it like it is, I'm surprised he hasn't just stuck into Clive, Chiles and Townsend. Imagine what he would be like with Lawro.

Happy? No - not for the first 86 minutes.
Fickle? yes for all 1088098734 minutes
Angry? yes for about 5-8 minutes (signed off)
Ecstatic? yes - and still am....

Thought this was another case of "here we go again" - then Lowton - a player I have slagged a bit, scores what I will call "the goal of the new generation" that might save our survival!!!

If we do - he should go into the hall of fame for that.

Even in the TV studio Keane's an intimidating fucker. Fantastic footballer but an arsehole of a man. His comments about Mick McCarthy & subsequent walk out on his country speaks volumes about his character.

I think he was right to slag off the FAI but was wrong to make it an issue with his own team mates and manager  in a public manner. I think Big Mick would have beaten the crap out of him had he not walked out. He looked like a fucking spoilt idiot in 2002. He didn't face the manager down - as Mick said '.. I want to talk about the 22 players who are here rather than the one(s) who aren't here...'

Thoroughly deserved win - it would have been a traversty if Stoke had got anything from that; we were vastly superior.

There's been a step change in this team since half time against Newcastle and we seem to be on an upward curve now. Long may that continue.

Seperately, delighted to see Stoke's rancid football is now in very real danger of being consigned to the Championship.

Please don't go down the the Mick V Keane fiasco again as we may be blessed with that nut job cb anytime soon making an appearance.  Let's leave it at Keane is a good pundit and his managerial abilities along with his attitude to the end of his international career as questionable.

Whilst we are by no means safe, yet, it's very satisfying & sometimes frustrating, to watch these players grow into a team. We are heading in the right direction, with the right mentality. If it continues Lambert deserves praise for holding his nerve.

Lowtons' goal is even better with German commentary. Thanks for the clip whoever posted it.

Gooooooooal!! Fantastischesudentenlandabwehrluftwaffe!!!! Lowton rules
I thought the German commentator said "das war wie V-Rakete geht in die Herzen von London"

He probably did, Aftab. It's 45 years since I did German at school. Jet propulsion even longer.

And 4 out of 7. Not bad for a side that was never going to win again this season.

But then of course these young players are rubbish, and Vlaar can't defend, and where's Genk and can we wipe it up with a handkerchief and Lambert's a bumbling Scottish twat etc etc etc.

Just heard Pulis on the radio, 'We've got to dust ourselves down and we go again' ;D

Oh, and the game, thought we were excellent but the Stoke equaliser made for one of the typical roller-coaster performances we seem to specialise  in this season. I don't think I've celebrated a goal as much as I did Lowton's beauty in a long time. I'm still buzzing  because of it now. Sometimes there's no drug like seeing us put together a beautiful win.
